Education!

Within two days of buying this app I was able to show an inquisitive neighbor what it means to say that Jupiter will be at opposition in late 2012, and also to show him how it is that Mercury and Venus can be both morning and evening "stars" at various times. He was impressed and I am impressed. The app has lovely graphics and (so far as I have seen) excellent accuracy. Cosmographia is practically a necessity for parents who want their children to have an edge on 99% of the population through possession fundamental knowledge of the World.

I think that Cosmographia is underpriced. It is unfortunate that people have come to expect small developers to practically give away their software--especially a piece of software as complex and excellent as Cosmographia. I fear for genius if it is not amply rewarded.
